The Kolpakov Duo is driven by legendary Russian-Romani (Gypsy) guitarist and songwriter Alexander “Sasha” Kolpakov, and features his nephew Vadim Kolpakov, one of the most renowned seven-string Romani guitarists in the world. Having reached global acclaim as a key player in Madonna’s “Sticky & Sweet” tour, Vadim is currently working with his U.S.-based ensemble Via Romen, using the Kremona F65CW-7 in his performances throughout North America.
